General

Reason 14 puts you back in the (music) business. It has been one of the well-known DAW packages for years, and one of the reasons is the Reason Rack. A virtual rack full of effects - which is also available separately - with flexible modulation options through virtual patch cables. This version 14 includes a new reverb, the RV9 Reverb, ideal for realistic spaciousness, but also usable for great experimentation. Furthermore, what is now true for a lot of DAW packages applies to Reason: when all the instruments and effects are actually already there, there is again a bit more focus on ease of use and workflow. Think of track folders. Reason is a package that both the starter and the experienced producer can get on well with, for both audio and MIDI, and has been for over a quarter of a century!
