General

With this 4-channel DJ controller, you can really unleash your creativity. The DDJ-GRV6 is designed not only for experienced DJs but also for beginners. The layout is very similar to the layout of the classic CDJ + DJM setup. Moreover, this device is easy to use with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox. AlphaTheta has also added 2 special features to this DJ controller. The innovative Groove Circuit and Stems FX features!

Groove Circuit

Discover a new dimension of musical creativity. The new Groove Circuit function lets you easily create remixes by adjusting drum parts without interruptions. With Drum Swap, you take drums from a track and add a whole new vibe with drums from other styles. In addition, you can use this feature as a drum sampler so you can add the drums from one track, to another track. So with the DDJ-GRV6, you create your own drum rolls, drum loops and experiment with transitions.

Stems FX

And as icing on the cake, when using Serato DJ Pro, you get access to the Stems FX feature. This lets you edit different parts of a track and add effects. This way, you put your own spin on the drums, bass lines, vocals and melodies of your favourite track. You can use the Stems FX function in the same place you can use the Groove Circuit. Similarly, you can adjust any part of the track by using the Stems Roll instead of the Drum Roll. Because you can easily isolate different elements of a track, you can easily improvise during a live performance. This way, you keep your sets dynamic!

Design

The matte black AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 uses a rotary section that can rotate, click and be used as a joystick by moving it horizontally or vertically for quick navigation. This makes navigating a lot easier and faster. This DJ controller can safely be called user-friendly, as the minimalist display in the centre makes it easy to find your way around. They have also very cleverly separated the Groove Circuit from the performance pads by means of an edge. Very handy for during spinning, to prevent you from accidentally touching a jog wheel.

Crystal-clear sound and balanced spectrum. Whether I'm in work mode or just jamming, these speakers are a serious upgrade. Rock-solid build, making them a worthy investment.
