With the Torso Electronics S4 BK + Cover, you’re getting a hands-on, DIY sampler that transforms your own recordings into adventurous soundscapes. Record quickly via line-in or the built-in microphone and dive into the granular engine, where four sample layers, a 48-band filter, effects and extensive modulation invite you to experiment to your heart’s content. Think of it as a synthesiser built around your samples; perfect for shaping and resampling indescribable textures. Ideal for noise, sound design, film and game audio, New Age and anything that doesn’t fit into a standard preset. Thanks to the clear display and encoders, you can work without endlessly navigating through menus, whilst switching between settings at lightning speed with a bit of muscle memory.
