General

For a synthesizer to have a digital sound generator is nothing special, but the Waldorf M Wavetable Synthesizer takes things one step further and uniquely fuses a digital source (wavetables, short-looping samples) with the analogue warmth offered by VCFs and VCAs. That's 'the best of both worlds' right there, because those wavetables are way more complex than ye old saw-tooth, square and sine-based tones. So, whether you're ready for something else in terms of oscillators or you're a sound designer with vision, this synthesis machine is sure to be a great addition to your studio.

The Features of the Waldorf M

This 8-voice, multi-timbral desktop module features a stunning colour display and a sizeable collection of controls for that essential hands-on feel as well as intuitive control over all of the options. What's also great are the four sets of stereo outputs that can be individually assigned to one of four parts, which opens up the option of adding a bit of nuance to your mixes. Add that to the 32 user-wavetable slots, the 2048 + 128 multi-timbral preset slots, the SD card reader for wavetable exchanges and the countless other useful specs, and what you get is an easily-integrable, fully modern synth that's ready to deliver uniquely saturated chunks of audio.
