The large diaphragm PR 30 microphone has been developed by the more-than-capable Heil Sound to place a highly versatile stage and studio tool in the hands of all sound techs. The PR 30 can take on vocals, guitar amplifiers and full drum kits with outstanding results. This smart microphone comes supported by a humbucking coil that ensures it performs with minimum noise, no matter the situation. The 1.5-inch diaphragm is also suspended in an integrated shockmount to counter any vibrational or contact noise.
When the PR 30 microphone is set up to record vocals, an internal passive filter removes any of the sharp and unwelcome plosives that result from sitting too close to the mic. Usually, a pop-filter is needed to eliminate these sonic peaks, but due to this very special and very effective filter, it's not actually necessary. The PR 30 comes complete with a die-cast metal clip and a foam-lined box.
